The PACCAR 12-speed Automated Transmission greatly reduces downtime and maintenance cost. The first lube change interval occurs at 750,000 miles and requires only 16 pints of oil. A greaseless 430mm self-adjust clutch is maintenance free. The input shaft wear sleeve can be replaced quickly and easily—without a costly and time-consuming teardown.

Sioux City Truck & Trailer is looking for an experienced Body Shop Technician.
Summary:
Body work, prep work, paint/clear coat, and reassembling trucks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window and seat operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle body and fenders.
Position dolly block against surface of dented area and beats opposite surface to remove dents.
Fill depressions with body filler.
Remove damaged fenders, panels, grills, bolts, and or weld replacement parts in position.
File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces.
Refinish repaired surface.
Paint surfaces after preforming body repairs.
Must posses their own basic tools.
Have proper knowledge of SMC, fiberglass, plastic, plastic and sheet metal repair procedures.
Must Not be Afraid of Heights (Requires work up to 15' on ladders at times).
Position Provides:
Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM schedule
Saturday as needed.
100% Commission based

Immediate need for a Body Shop Manager in our Sioux City, IA location.
Experience is preferred in the semi truck field but willing to train the right person for the position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.
* Working with all departments in harmony
* Prepare and sdminister an annual operating budget for the body shop
* Attends managers' meetings as requested
* Understand, keep abreast of and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, etc.
* Hire, train, motive, counsel and monitor the performance of all body shop staff.
* Direct and schedule the activities of all body shop employees
* Provide technical assistance as needed
* Conduct meetings with body shop employees to discuss sctivities and problems of mutual interest
* Monitor Body Shop Technicians' payroll records
* Conduct monthly safety meetings
* Establish and maintain good working relationships with insurance adjusters
* Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referall business
* Supervise all activities of and communication with wreckers
* Greet all customers promply and give fair estimates on costs and time required for body work
* Break down estimates into labor and parts before the job is started so that Repair Technicians are aware of time allowances
* Quaility-check completed jobs
* Handle all customer complaints
* Keep abreast of new equipment and tools available and recommend purchases
* Ensure that the work areas and customer waiting areas are kept clean
* Account for all documents; ensure that noe are missing
* Follow up on all parts department orders to ensure parts availability
* Participate in all available training programs
* Must have a working knowledge and understanding of the company's Job Safety Analysis pertaining to this position and positions this individual supervises
* Must have a working knowledge and understanding of the company's safety policy.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
* Oversee Body Shop Department
* Must conduct all 90 Day reviews in a timely manner
* Must have each employee's yearly Performance Review completed by his/her actual anniversary date.
