JD Prorok, Bryce Plucker, Callaway Weeks, Christopher Joseph, Aiden Kocer, Ayden Geiman, & Bryce Bangasser were selected to participate in the Central Iowa Sports MVP All Star Under Armour Baseball Tournament in Des Moines this weekend.
A Central Iowa Sports Most Valuable player (CIS MVP) is a player who exemplifies the qualities of a great player and a great individual during play. They need to exhibit awesome play, sportsmanship, motivation, team spirit and great attitude and were nominated by the coaches
All teams will play a minimum of 4 games during the weekend. The Champion and Runner-Up teams will walk away with awesome custom-made rings. All players will get personalized Under Armour jerseys and a hat as well as other Under Armour swag and event socks. A lunch social will also be provided to all players at the ballpark on Saturday.

One of only three returning starters from the Knights' 2019 state championship team, Schwab was a defensive force, recording a team-high 74 tackles (12 for a loss) and one interception. For his career, the 6-2, 210-pound senior tallied 164 tackles (21 for loss) eight sacks and two interceptions. He also helped out on offense, rushing for 404 yards and five touchdowns on 59 carries.
"Jacob was our most versatile and productive player on both sides of the ball," coach Jayson Poppinga said.
