We do not sell bikes, but once in a while we receive bikes that are not your everyday run of the mill bike and might be something that would be worthy of a donation to help keep the shop supplies filled. I liken this to a new driver just getting their learner's permit. You wouldn't think of giving them the keys to a brand new Mustang or Corvette. They have to earn it, and one way to do that is prove they can first take care of a Chevy Spark or Ford Escort.

Snow, rain, sleet, and every moisture in between. It might be beautiful to look at but it can do bad things to your windows like make it hard to open them. Thankfully, it's a quick and easy fix! All you need is a hair dryer, a rag, and candle wax.
Step 1: Plug the hair dryer, set it on low, and allow the heat to penetrate the sash located on the side of the window.
Step 2: Wiggle the window as you apply the hair dryer until it starts to budge.
Step 3: Use the rag to remove the dirt stuck on the window.
Step 4: Use candle wax to on the window tracks to help the window move more smoothly.

The chances you'll need to change your door knob are few and far between but if you do... we're here to help.
Step 1: Remove the screws from the old doorknob.
Step 2: Remove the underlying plate with a flathead screwdriver.
Step 3: Use a screwdriver (power or not) to remove the old screws and the old latch.
Step 4: Remove the old strike plate.
Step 5: Install the new doorknob using all the above steps in REVERSE order.

IMO, this is how the conversation should go when buyers want to make their offer more attractive.
Buyer says to her Agent:
“This bathroom and the rest of the house looks great.....we don’t need a home inspection. Let’s waive it and make our offer more attractive. I am sick of my offers getting rejected.”
A Savvy Agent replies:
“Some Agents would let you do that but I won’t. We are getting it inspected. Maybe we will explain that we won’t ask for nit picky repairs. We really want to make sure there aren’t any structural, mechanical, health, or safety related, deficiencies. But it’s going to be inspected so you and I can sleep good at night.”

“I am really glad you had this house inspected. This laundry chute may seem handy but your toddler could crawl through it, land head first on the concrete basement floor, and get hurt. You need to seal this hole up before you move in. Promise me you are going to do that. Now let me show you some other issues I found.”
Buyer says to agent after the inspection and walk through are completed,
“Thank you so much for not letting me waive the inspection. I learned so much from this process and I am grateful knowing what needs to be done in order to live in a safe home. I will definitely recommend you to my friends.”
