As President of SM Mechanical, It was my pleasure to testify to the offices of U.S. Congressman Dutch Ruppersberger and U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen this week in an effort to promote at the federal level the value of energy efficiency programs I am very active in as both an HVAC business owner and Vice President of the Heating and Air Conditioning Contractors of Maryland. I’ve used my platform to help pass legislation this past year at the state level to help offer many people the opportunity to receive many large rebates to help make their homes much more efficient in order to save them as homeowners money and the state of Maryland energy to preserve our power grid. My hope this year is to continue to grow the program with help from not only Annapolis, but also Washington by working the the Appropriations Committee for federal funding. We look forward to continued success to all of Maryland’s residents through these programs in the upcoming years.

Corey & Clayton knocked this steam boiler job out of the park!
A new aluminum chimney liner was installed for the new 187k Btus steam boiler and the old atmospheric water heater was replaced with a new 75 gallon power vent water heater.
Oh yeah, the appliances switched places too. All new copper low returns and the new steamer was piped out completely in custom cut and threaded 2" black steel.
