FALL IS OFFICIALLY HERE! Look what the PreK class made.
THE APPLE ORCHARD UNCENSORED! We had a great time at Anderson Orchard this morning - our first field trip in nearly a year. Thanks to the parents and grandparents who came along and pitched in to help our little apple pickers!
PRESCHOOL/PREK PICTURE DAY - WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30th. 9:30 a.m.
PICTURE ENVELOPES ARE AVAILABLE AT THE DESK - pictures must be prepaid
SEPTEMBER 30 – (Wednesday) - PRESCHOOL PICTURE DAY - We will be having a photographer, Donna Rice, come to take individual "school" pictures of the kids. Packages range from $25 to $50 with extra pricing for additional pictures and "specialty" items (such as buttons, calendars and magnets.) Orders and money should be returned on or before picture day. There is a "retake or money back" guarantee. Pictures should be back in three to four weeks.
If this is a day when your child does not usually come, but you wish to bring them long enough to have their picture taken, we will put those kids first. (The class photo will be taken in the spring.) Parents are also invited to bring younger brothers and sisters to have pictures taken as well. If you would like to send your child in dressy clothes for the picture, you may send play clothes for them to change into later in the morning.

Mayor Hogsett announced this morning that all Marion County schools will have to revert to all virtual learning for grades K-12 no later than November 30th. This order lasts through at least January 15, 2021.
We have not yet seen when Franklin Township Schools will make the switch - we will let you know how this impacts Small MIracles preschool/preK program as soon as we have more information.
SMALL MIRACLES WILL REMAIN OPEN FOR CHILD CARE.

CONGRATULATIONS TO SMALL MIRACLES ALUMNI ALEX AND ALYCIA (Baker) MORGAN who welcomed their son Asher Alexander into the family on October 27th! (And Asher's grandmother Charlotte just happens to be Small MIracles preschool teacher!)

Well, it's Groundhog's Day and good old Punsxutawney Phil saw his shadow.so what else can we do besides play with flashlights and make shadows on the ceiling?

Charlotte's preschool kids had lots of steps to their project today. Cutting AND pasting AND figuring out sequential ordering!
THE THINGS KIDS SAY - This morning, Margie was doing review with some of her PreK kids in preparation for mid-year evaluations. She was working with the last little boy, and said to him "Now try to say your ABC's and then you're done." So, he replied, "A..B..C.. Now I'm done."
Good for him - he did exactly what the teacher asked him to do :-)
