Update to Office Procedures
As you know our office has been temporarily closed to daily patients following the orders of the Arkansas State Health Department. As of May 8th the health department has set out guide lines for the re-opening of all dental offices. While we are excited to get back to serving you, we are also cautious to follow guidelines and protocols they have set for both your safety and ours. We have taken a conservative approach to our re-opening and will begin seeing regularly scheduled patients on May 18th, one week after state guidelines. You will notice, however, that certain things will be different when you arrive for your appointments. Please see the following list for some of the changes you can expect. Thank you for your patience and support.
Changes to Patient Protocols:
-Upon scheduling an appointment we will perform a patient screening questionnaire. The screening questionnaire will also be repeated at time of arrival for your dental visit.
-All patients will be screened for temperatures above 100.4
-When you arrive to your appointment, remain in your vehicle and call the office to let us know you are here. A staff member will come to your vehicle to complete your screening and needed paperwork.
-Please have a mask with you. The health department has required the wearing of masks in dental offices as you make your way to and from the treatment rooms.
-When you come into the treatment room we ask that you wash your hands with either soap and water, or an alcohol based sanitizer.
-We will attempt to complete all front office needs in the treatment rooms.
-As treatment staff we will continue to meet the standard of care for sterilization and PPE. For everyone’s protection, we will be adding to areas that are specifically important for viral transmission inhibition. You may notice different mask types, face shields, and procedures during this time.

We would like to welcome the newest member of Dr. McGarity’s family, Amelia Ann McGarity. She was born October 17th weighing 6 lbs 2 oz and 19 in long. Eliza is loving being a big sister! Dr. McGarity would like to thank everyone for their prayers and well wishes.
