POSITION OVERVIEW: The Health and Safety Advocate will have high energy and is a hard worker. They will be someone who is compassionate and empathetic. It is also important that this person has a positive attitude and a willingness to jump in and get the job done.
This position will be responsible for and do the following:
Performs mandatory temperature checks for everyone entering the facility.
Conducts proper screenings of persons upon entry to the facility.
Distribute face masks.
Consistently cleaning and disinfecting assigned work spaces/areas.
Continually observes for safety hazards and persons needing assistance.
Acts upon inquiries if within the scope of their authority or routes it to the proper authority.
Controls, regulates and directs pedestrian traffic.
Provide excellent customer service to our patients and guests.
Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site
Respond quickly to critical situations.
Ability to read and write detailed reports.
Enforce all procedures, regulations, and standards.
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
CPR Certified
Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards.
Minimum 1 Year of Previous Experience
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, guests and co-workers.
Ability to adhere to and lead through safety policies and procedures.
Ability to use good judgement and to maintain confidentiality of information.
Ability to work as a team player.
Ability to demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience and dedication
Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
