"The staff at this vet clinic were so responsive, cheerful, and helpful. We were visiting from out of state, and I appreciate their support and assistance while we were in town with my Russell, who had infected ears. Today I (Dr. Koenig) celebrated my 6 year anniversary as Medical Director at Snohomish Station Animal Hospital. It was a busy day with healthy pets, sick pets, happy pets, worried pets. It was a good day! I saw many of my 'regulars' and met some new ones. I have enjoyed building so many relationships with amazing pet owners over the last 6 years. During this time we have grown from 1 veterinarian with 3 employees, to a clinic with 4 veterinarians and 12 employees. I am lucky to have such an amazing community of support, the trust of my clients and the dedication of my staff. Thank you all for helping me and SSAH make it so far! I so very grateful to you all and can't wait until I can actually see everyone again! #snohomishstationah #snohomishstationanimalhospital #snovets #snohomish #dogsofsnohomish #dogsofinstagram #anniversary #anniversary

THANK YOU TO ALL OUR GENEROUS CLIENTS. Every year during November and December we run our annual Pet Food Bank Drive for our local Snohomish Community Food Bank. This year, due to COVID-19, we collected monetary donations in lieu of bags of food. We raised $1,800 and we were able to purchase over 700 pounds worth of dog and cat food delivered directly to the food bank. And, thank you to Hill's Pet Nutrition for donating additional food for a total of 875 pounds!! The food was delivered this week and we are so happy to have such supportive clients to help give back to our community. The last year has impacted all of us in so many ways we never thought possible. If anyone is interested in giving back to their community the Snohomish Food Bank is always accepting donations. During the month of February we will be highlighting what each of our team members ❤'s about being in this profession and as a part of the Snohomish Station Animal Hospital team! Today we are highlighting one of our associate doctors, Dr. Becky. I have been lucky to be apart of the Snohomish Station Animal Hospital team since I graduated vet school. With our amazing team, adorable patients, and wonderful clients I have been able to build a family at SSAH. I enjoy creating such meaningful and trusting relationships with our clients and getting to know their families, both furry and not. It brings so much joy and fulfillment when I am able to help a patient feel better and keep them healthy life long. Being a veterinarian can be challenging and rewarding all at the same time. I love the medical puzzles, and figuring out together with my clients and patients, how to best help them. I also enjoy the team I work with at SSAH. They show me daily excellent patient care, client relations, and how to work together for our greatest goal; caring for our patients.
During the month of February we will be highlighting what each of our team members ❤'s about being in this profession and as a part of the Snohomish Station Animal Hospital team! Today we are starting with our Dr. Koenig, our Medical Director. I love building relationships with my clients and patients. Overtime we build a remarkable trust, appreciation, and understanding with one another. I know the health of their pet inside and out, and know the client on a personal level. It is these foundations of trust and caring that really warm the heart. This is Mocha, who is amazing, happy, always has butt wiggles and LOVES cookies! Her and her mom are the sweetest pair and I always look forward to their healthy visits(no one likes sick visits, we want everyone to feel good). They are one example of many special relationships that have grown from my profession.

While I never anticipated having the honor of working with animals on a daily basis, it has truly been the joy I needed to get through 2020, and the wonderful humans I get to work along side has been the icing on the cake. I cannot wait to continue to build upon these relationships in the years ahead!

Today we are highlighting one of our Licensed Veterinary Technicians, Linnea. I’ve been a part of the SSAH team for almost 3 years. I started out as an assistant with basically no experience. Our doctors and staff have helped me learn and grow so much. I formed special bonds with our team, patients, and clients! As an LVT I love being able to use my skills and knowledge to give gold star standard care to every pet that comes into our hospital. My favorite areas of veterinary medicine are anesthesia, analgesia, and diagnostic imaging. Every day is something new and a chance to better who I am as a technician! I also love all the opportunities I have to advocate for our patients and give clients the tools they need to help their babies. During the month of February we will be highlighting what each of our team members 💜’s about being in this profession and as a part of the Snohomish Station Animal Hospital team! Today we are highlighting our Practice Manager, Ellie. Why do I love veterinary medicine and Snohomish Station Animal Hospital? I happened upon my career in veterinary medicine 6 years ago when I took a position as a Veterinary Receptionist at an emergency vet. During my time there clients would often ask “How are you able to do this job?” And my answer would always be “One day it’s going to be me and my pet and I would want someone to do the same thing.” I began my career here at SSAH 3 and a half years ago as the Practice Manager. My team loves veterinary medicine, and their jobs at Snohomish Station, and their individual posts this month have shown that. This week I had my own pet’s medical emergency and every single staff member from reception, to assistant, to technician, to doctor, demonstrated their passion for their career and they were there for me when I needed someone to do what I had always done. I love my job as Practice Manager at Snohomish Station Animal Hospital because there is no other team I would want taking care of my pets.
