What Your Day May Look Like:
As a HVAC technician there are many things you will be doing in a day. Below are some of the Duties and Responsibilities you may have:
Install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation and cooling units for residential customers
Service
Trouble Shooting
Some equipment replacement
Face to Face interaction with Customers
Travel to job sites in service area, and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer
Climb ladders, scaffolding and use man lifts to perform work duties
Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle
Qualifications:
Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time
Observe all company procedures and safety rules
Positive, upbeat personality with focus on customer satisfaction
Flexibility to work 8-10 hour days
Ability to reach above and below shoulder level
Be able to withstand extended periods of kneeling, bending, squatting and stooping to complete or inspect repairs.
Handle repetitive tasks
Must be able to wear protective gear
Team Player with a GREAT attitude
Valid driver's license
