Remembering the days when we worked in our office and enjoyed tasty snacks! Our team has been all about the remote work life over the past six months due to COVID โ and while we're grateful to have the flexibility to work from home โ we do miss the donuts. ๐๐ฉ
Did you catch our new Bar and Restaurant Social Media Guide? We're covering the social media basics for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and share some of our favorite, out-of-the-box content examples.

A rave review + a little love from one of our rad clients: "SHR takes the pressure off of us as business owners and attends to all social media "needs," which in turn lets us run our daily operations. They're absolutely the best at monitoring the daily activity and communicating any and all concerns with regards to comments--both good and bad. Thank you for caring about us!" ๐
Matt was the recipient of our #businessing award right before his internship ended at Social High Rise! He exemplified โgetting after itโ by setting goals, and exceeding milestones week after week, even during the tumultuous months of COVID when we shifted to remote work. Matt is a rockstar and we miss him tremendously, but we know heโll continue to get after it wherever he goes. Thank you Matt!๐ฅ
One of our guiding principles at Social High Rise: โkeep swimming.โ This sentiment has been particularly important to our team over the past 6 months while weโve worked side-by-side with restaurants and small businesses navigating restrictions and modified operations due to COVID-19. Itโs been a roller coaster of emotions and itโs definitely not over, but the most important thing we can do right now is: KEEP SWIMMING! #businessing

Our Social High Rise headquarters is located in Northern California where intense fires are currently ripping through communities.
This photo was taken from our office widow today โ eerily familiar to the view we had in November 2018 when our county experienced the most destructive and deadliest fire in Californiaโs history: The Camp Fire.
Weโre sending all the love to fire crews and first responders working tirelessly to control the blazes close by. And we have tremendous empathy for the families and businesses who are uprooted and displaced. โฅ๏ธ
Since our entire team pivoted to working 100% remote, we've had less of our accidental twinning days. ๐ฏโโ๏ธ๐ These two were the queens of unintentional matching in the office, but we're still on the lookout in our virtual meetings! ๐
Matching or not, we're always #businessing. ๐
Here's a happy client quote for Monday: "Social High Rise is doing everything they promised. Our social presence has improved and most importantly, we have freed up some of my staff." ๐ฅ๐๐ผ
To celebrate #WorldMentalHealthDay, we're highlighting our recent blog about the importance of actually taking mental health days.

Throwback Fridays are allowed when they're this rad. ๐ Pre-pandemic, Mark and Carinn flew all the way to Chicago to meet our with new client, Murray Bros. Caddyshack, and were surprised to meet Bill Murray himself! ๐คฉ #businessing with the Murray Bros has been fun ever since!
"Like restaurateurs everywhere, owners Amante Domingo and Heather White faced a tough choice โ to furlough staff and close shop for the foreseeable future, or adapt. Seeing an opportunity to remain in business while serving their communityโs shifting needs, the pair worked quickly." ๐โ๐ผ

TWO back-to-back #businessing awards earned? Ryann did that. A couple things we work to keep at the forefront of our minds during the day-to-day at Social High Rise: (1) Squash the ego. It's not your amigo. And (2) Be transparent. Lay your cards on the table. We've found that these attributes help us to be better team members, stronger leaders, and impactful partners to our clients.
Our team nominated Ryann as the recipient of both awards two months in a row because she doesn't let her ego get in the way of growth, plus she's open and honest about her challenges and progress. Thanks for setting a great example, Ryann! ๐๐
Wishing you health, happiness, and more this new year from all of us at Social High Rise! ๐พ

Sending all the love! Despite the global pandemic this year, we have been fortunate to be able to continue #businessing while offering our team and clients a little extra love. ๐ It's been a tough one, but we learned a lot and strengthened new skillsets. Goodbye 2020! Hello new year!
We rounded out the last month of the year with Mark proudly winning our #businessing award for "Scrappy as hell!" Obstacles be damned -- this guy will find a way. He'll learn it, build it, try it, break it, fix it, ship it. Technologic. (shout out Daft Punk ๐). He the optimistic, hustling, scrappy guy we call our CEO and leader and we're super grateful for him. Go, Mark! ๐ฅ๐๐
The end of the year often brings a lot of reflection and gratitude. And today, we're feeling extra grateful for Natalie! ๐
Natalie recently celebrated her 3-Year Anniversary with Social High Rise and wow, what a great ride it's been! She's been a rock star Account Manager and has developed great relationships with her clients--going above and beyond to serve them with empathy, expertise, and of course, a little fun! She's creative, diligent, and so passionate about her work and myriad of volunteer efforts. She rocks and we're so lucky to have her on our team. Congrats, Natalie! ๐๐ฅ
Wishing you healthy, safe, and Happy Holidays from all of us at Social High Rise! โจ๐ฒ
'Twas the night before Christmas at the 'High Rise...โจ๐ Here's hoping your holiday season has been merry & bright! ๐
With Valentine's Day around the corner, there's a lot of love in the air. But for the Social High Rise team, there's also a lot of #businessing on the ground. ๐โค๏ธ We always love working closely with our clients and team, but this year, we've found creative ways to share the love remotely as well. ๐๐๐ผ Go team!

Our fantastic new interns have brought a new energy into our office and workflow and we're HERE FOR IT! It may be the end of the week, but we've got all the motivation to get to #businessing today! ๐ฅ๐๐ผ
We welcomed a RAD batch of interns to our team today and weโre stoked! Looking forward to a great semester with all of them on our team. Welcome to the 'High Rise Aisling, Ayana, Grace, Isabella, Luis, and Xavier! We're excited youโre all #businessing with us. ๐๐ฅ
"If I cannot do great things, I can do small things in a great way." -Martin Luther King Jr.
Keeping these powerful words in mind as we head into another year. Our core focus is to help humans connect with other humans. We do so by supporting small businesses in any way we can and using our collective voice and privilege to amplify the stories that need to be told. ๐
