Berks County Bar Association June 2 at 3:31 PM · President Judge Thomas G. Parisi declared in an order Monday that Berks County Courts will remain in an ongoing judicial emergency until at least June 30. Today, Parisi issued a similar administrative order announcing the Berks Magisterial District Judge System will also remain closed to the general public until June 30. Both levels of court are handling essential judicial services as needed and encouraging the use of video hearings. Anyone entering the courts are required to wear a mask covering their nose and mouth at all times.
