Murray Orbuch, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist with more than 20 years of experience providing expert care at his New York City practice. With two convenient locations in SoHo and the Financial district, Dr. Orbuch is committed to providing his patients with the best possible care, spending unhurried time to fully and accurately diagnose the problem.
In addition to managing general gastroenterology needs, Dr. Orbuch also specializes in Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, and Celiac sprue, as well as gastrointestinal endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures. Through his affiliation with the world-class Mount Sinai Medical Center, he is able to provide timely access to the best and latest medical technology, along with other specialty care when needed.
After earning his undergraduate degree, Dr. Orbuch pursued his Doctor of Medicine at the State University of New York-Downstate College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at New York University Medical Center and his fellowship in gastroenterology at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington DC, and The National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Orbuch is dedicated to his career and has authored 16 scholarly papers and book chapters and is currently an Assistant Professor of Gastroenterology at The Mount Sinai Medical School.
