The FDA has authorized two different COVID-19 vaccines. We’re so excited to be bringing these safe and tested vaccines to our residents and associates. We have enrolled in a program with CVS and Walgreens to ensure the vaccine will be available to our staff and residents at onsite clinics conducted in our community. In honor of Women’s History Month, we are celebrating some of the great women in our Solstice at Lee’s Summit family. Now it’s time to meet Frances! After graduating from high school, Frances attended college classes and became a schoolteacher. She has four children with her husband and used to live on a farm in the St. Louis area. Frances rode her horse every day after school.
Frances moved to Solstice Senior Living at Lee’s Summit in 2015 and has lived here for four years before temporarily moving back to St. Louis to spend time with her son. She is now back at Solstice, and we could not be happier to have her with us again! Frances is very involved in our community and even attended the senior prom at the high school next door a few years ago!
