Meet Dr. Neil Jaddou
Neil Jaddou MD has been a practicing physician for over 18 years. He provides comprehensive medical care for adults and children at Somerset Family Medicine SFM. A widely respected member of the Troy and Sterling Heights communities, Dr. Jaddou enjoys working with a diverse group of patients throughout the Detroit area.
Dr. Jaddou graduated with honors from Wayne State University Medical School, which is one of the top medical schools in the country. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at St. John Hospital before transferring to Detroit Medical Center to complete a residency in family practice. Today, Dr. Jaddou is a board-certified family doctor and is a member of the medical staff at Beaumont Troy and Royal Oak, St. John, Henry Ford and DMC hospitals.
Throughout his medical career, Dr. Jaddou has earned many awards and academic distinctions. The Somerset Family Medicine SFM office recently won an award from Genesys Health System for high levels of patient satisfaction.
Dr. Jaddou seeks to provide his patients with friendly, knowledgeable, affordable medical care. He believes that patient bio-social aspect and the stress of his or her environment affects the patient's condition. He involves his patients in the decision-making process. He takes pride in treating patients from many different cultural and ethnic backgrounds, and his office provides each patient with plenty of one-on-one attention.
An active medical researcher and writer, he brings the latest medical technology and research to patient care. Dr. Jaddou authors a monthly health column in the Troy-Somerset Gazette. He’s also clinical professor of Family Medicine and Community Health at Wayne State University Medical School and Oakland Beaumont Medical School where he teaches medical students to become skilled and compassionate doctors.
Neil Jaddou, MD, enjoys nature, gardening, going to Lifetime Fitness, traveling, and going out with his friends. He enjoys spending time with his family, and his marriage was blessed by Pope Francis. He has one child named Francis.
