A few updates to share with our patients:
1) There are a lot of rumors online about home births. The doctors at Somerset are always here for you. The Family Birth Center (Labor and Delivery) will always stay open, 24/7, even during a pandemic. We are NOT recommending home births.
2) Only two entrances are open at Beaumont Royal Oak: The South and East entrances. For pregnant patients, you should enter the hospital via the South Entrance. The Family Birth Center is on the third floor in the South Tower. The East Entrance is for all other patients (It will be locked from 9PM to 5AM).
Happy Medical Assistant Day!
We have lots of great ones in our office.
We appreciate you 😄
🍁🍁🍁We Are Thankful for YOU!🍁🍁🍁

This Thanksgiving, may your blessings be many and your worries be few.

If your romantic plans don't include an October baby, make sure you have everything you need in terms of contraception. We happily offer a wide range of #BirthControl options and counseling to discuss the patients' most effective options. Pregnant women should be hypervigilant in their efforts to avoid #COVID-19. Maintaining #SocialDistance, wearing a mask and avoiding unnecessary travel are great places to start, but the CDC has detailed some additional guidelines to take into consideration: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/need-extra-precautions/pregnancy-breastfeeding.html
