The name "Somewhere in Between" comes from my belief, based on my professional and personal experience that, once the loss and/or a trauma has occurred, we are no longer in the place we yearned for, nor are we yet where we desire to be. We are "in between".
The face of loss has many different features and is complex and varies for everyone.
Death of any loved one, divorce, chronic illness, miscarriage, pets, loss of a career, or even empty nest. These are just a few examples grief and loss. Whatever you may be going through, I encourage you that there is hope! Things can and will get better.
ACOD, Adult Children of Divorce, pertains to adult children of divorce and helping parents help their children integrate divorce.
Easing Your Pain and Embracing Comfort...
Movement towards easing your pain: A person's grief can move towards mourning (grief out loud) by allowing another person to be a compassionate companion. A companion, Baring Witness to a person's pain and mourning promotes integration
of the loss.
I am here to walk that journey with you into wholeness and healing.
