Wow! What a story!
Customer's serpentine belt tore apart and wound it's way around and inside the timing chain components. We were able to catch it before any other catastrophic engine damage could occur.
What you see is the belt (what's left of it!) wound around the crankshaft and what had fallen into the oil pan.
Because of our awesome leader, Luis, we were able to get our Customer back on the road without performing major engine repairs.
Remember to bring in your vehicle with any strange belt sounds as soon as possible to save on costly repairs!
