South Bay Wound Care: Dr Marc Hare, MD CWS

Dr. Marc Hare brings 16 years of wound care experience to South Bay Wound Care. Dr. Hare is a Southern California native who completed a fellowship in undersea and hyperbaric medicine at UCSD Medical Center. He has done additional advanced wound care training with multiple experts in the field.

We are excited to announce that we are now open and ready to see patients! Millions of people in the United States suffer from chronic non-healing wounds. Close to half of these are people with diabetes who suffer from foot ulcers. Unfortunately, 20% of diabetic foot ulcers lead to an amputation. With proper treatment at South Bay Wound Care, most of these can be saved from amputation. Many wounds can be treated by primary care physicians or other clinicians. Difficult wounds, however, require advanced care. At South Bay Wound Care our specialty is healing challenging wounds using advanced wound care techniques.
