We are fully up as of 11:30 am today. Never so glad to see Verizon! Business as usual after a difficult week. Thanks for your patience. Now that we are up, please call our office from the parking lot at 856 428-5120 so we can direct you as to when to come up for all office visits and allergy injections.
We are open as of today....August 10th for allergy shots and limited office visits. We have electricity but no phone or internet service. When you get to the building there is a phone number posted on the side of the building to call. Our shot hours are the same.
Hi Everyone, I apologize since this is the first minute I have had to post that we are closed. I was obviously preoccupied with saving your vaccines and biologics, which were immediately moved to a secure off site refrigerator when I realized the power would be out for awhile. The tropical storm took down a tree on my property which in turn took down power lines. I have been in daily contact with PSE&G who assures me they are working on it and will get to me as soon as possible. I honestly don't have a commitment from them about when we will be up. It certainly won't be until Monday at the earliest. I will post here again when we are up and running! In case of an emergency in the interim, please call my service at 856 583-6506. If I have learned anything from the past few months, it is that I am resilient and resourceful. We will get through this as well. Thank you for your understanding in this matter which is currently not under my control. Hope you are all well and safe. Dr. Linda
Good morning. I hope everyone is hanging in there and safe. In regards to allergy injections....we are taking one patient at a time, administering shots in the vestibule and allowing patients to wait in their cars for the required 20 minutes post injections. New temporary shot hours are as follows: Monday 9-5. Last shot given at 4:30 pm Tues 10-12 and 2-5. Last shot given at 4:30 pm Wednesday 9-5. Last shot given at 4:30 pm Thurs 10-12 and 2-5. Last shot given at 4:30 pm Please call from the parking lot when you get here so we can adhere to one patient at a time in the office. Special arrangements can be made only for patients who are essential workers with advance notice, if the times above are not convenient. Also as a reminder, we ask that anyone with a cough/fever or asthma exacerbation as well as respiratory infections not come to the office for the safety of everyone as we are taking every precaution here. Thank you for your understanding. Dr. Linda
Again, a reminder...no one will be permitted in the office with a cough whether you think it is asthma or not. We must be in this together. Thanks for your understanding.
Good morning, I just received another correspondence from the State of NJ COVID task force. It appears all healthcare workers will be able to start their vaccinations in early January at one of the six designated sites the Governor has set up which would include Rowan College in Sewell and a Moorestown Mall location locally. You can look at the State of NJ COVID website for further details on how to register for your vaccinations, those of you who are healthcare workers. However, the portal is currently not up to register for these vaccinations yet. A happy and safe holiday season to you all! Dr. Linda
I promised to keep you in the loop regarding the vaccine availability. First, thank you for all your kind words and support. It means more than you know. I heard from the NJ Health Commissioner last evening who directed me to COVID-19.nj.gov where a list of vaccine centers and contact information is provided for healthcare workers to schedule their vaccinations. We are still in the 1a phase which is spelled out nicely on the COVID CDC website. Once again the NJ COVID website is a wealth of information. As I continue to hear things, I will relay the information to you. As always we continue to put your health and safety first as we render care in our office. I am confident we are doing a great job. May 2021 be a better year for all of us! Dr. Linda
I honestly don't know what to say other than to say another close family member passed away suddenly this morning. I need to be with my husband's family at this time. Please call the office before venturing out for allergy shots to make sure I am there. I will be back as soon as I can. Thanks. Dr. Linda
Good evening. Just wanted to let all who are interested know that I got my second COVID vaccine without any side effects! Actually the Shingrix shot was worse. Those of you who have not pre-registered for the COVID vaccine, please do so at the NJ website. Originally I was informed that COPD and not asthma would be a high risk condition to getting an earlier vaccine, yet when you complete the form it does ask you if you have asthma so I am really not sure. The rollout has been a bit chaotic from my perspective with people scrambling for appointments and Websites down. Please try your best to answer the questions truthfully so those who are at most risk can get vaccinated first. It’s the right thing to do since these next few weeks to months may be challenging for all. We can protect everyone by continuing to keep masking and maintaining our social distances, and not gathering with anyone outside your own household if at all possible. It works! Be safe, be well and have patience.
Just wanted to let you all know that I have more information regarding the COVID vaccine. This week, the state began administering the vaccine to law enforcement. It appears that they now have opened the vaccine program further to include those over 65 and those 16-64 with underlying health conditions. These include: Cancer, Chronic kidney disease, COPD (this does NOT include asthma), Down Syndrome, Obesity, Sickle cell disease, Diabetes and those with immune deficiencies. You can register for the vaccine on the NJ COVID 19 website. Thanks. Also thank you for all your prayers and love regarding our family's recent loss. It meant more than you will know. Dr. Linda
Today as I wait for my Instacart order, I am filled with gratitude. My Instacart angel reached out to me while shopping to ask if I needed any Lysol despite it not being on my list. It was this simple act of kindness that meant the most to me this week. I have the luxury of ordering my groceries on line and that is not forgotten by me. I rely on the help of "strangers" to keep me safe so I can continue to do what I do. Please think about all those who have little or no choices to keep safe. There are so many essential workers out there who must show up for all of us so we can continue to do our jobs. It really does take a village. Remember it's often the little things that count the most!
Good afternoon. Due to inclement weather please call the office prior to venturing out for your allergy shots. If the office is closed tomorrow, I still plan on doing the scheduled Telemed visits from my home. Thanks. Dr. Linda
Once again, I have decided to close the office due the continuing NJ state of emergency and some staff traveling from far away. Also in consideration for your own safety please stay home so emergency personnel can clear the roads. I expect my parking lot will be cleared by tomorrow. I will continue to do TeleMed appointments today. If you need to speak to me today with concerns that cannot wait until tomorrow please call the answering service. Why does this year feel like one big snow day?!
I have decided to close the office today for everyone’s safety. Be safe.
I will be doing my TeleMed visits today from home. Dr. Linda
The office will be closed today due to inclement weather. Thank you for your understanding. Dr. Linda
Oh another thing, you need to register for the Virtua Megasite in Moorestown separately from the state COVID registration. Thanks.
