Southern Eats is looking to add to our family. Do you have a passion for good food and take pride in what you do? Then come join the Southern Eats family!!!
We are looking for a part time Line Cook to work Friday and Saturday nights only- hours around 4:00pm - 9:00pm (subject to change). Incumbents who has a minimum of 2 years experience cooking in a fast paced full service restaurant and someone who understands that it takes teamwork for any business to be successful preferred.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
*Preparing dishes to standards of the Chef
*Putting out food in a timely fashion without sacrificing quality
*Keep a clean and sanitized kitchen
*Running dish and cleaning kitchen and floors
*Cleaning all kitchen equipment at night in preparation for the next days work
*Replenish stock used throughout the shift for following days preparation
We all help out when needed, regardless of our “title”. So if you have the “that’s not in my job description”, or “that’s not my responsibility”, if you can’t show up to work on time or at all, or have a negative personality please don’t apply or expect to work here long- this is not the place for you. We are a happy, fun group of people who work hard and support each other and looking for like minded people to join our family.
