After completing his undergraduate studies in education with an emphasis on athletic training from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Dr. Lee went to graduate school. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. Dr. Lee then finished his required residency training in podiatric surgery at the Community Hospital of Ottawa in Illinois.
Dr. Lee strives to offer the latest treatments and preventive care solutions for each of his patients. He regularly takes continuing education courses and is board-certified in podiatric surgery and podiatric medicine through the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry. Dr. Lee even holds professional memberships with the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association.
While Dr. Lee can diagnose and treat all conditions of the foot, ankle, and lower leg, he has a particular interest in diabetic podiatry. He regularly lectures on diabetic neuropathy and related lower extremity issues that people with diabetes face.
As a former college athlete, Dr. Lee even knows just how to relate to patients who participate in a sport or who exercise regularly. Dr. Lee is currently accepting new patients and welcomes them to the practice.
