Southern Memorial Company is family owned and operated monument company that has
been serving Bessemer and surrounding communities since 1939. To provide better and
more efficient service to our customers, we have our own granite quarriers and suppliers
that we are partnered with for a long time to ensure the quality of each granite memorial
we produce.
We customize our designs depending on your wishes and we also provide a proof for your
approval prior to production. In addition to making the headstone, we also offer full
installation, maintenance, cleaning and repair services including the application of final
dates in the future. We also provide granite signs, bronze markers, burial vaults, and other
burial supplies.
When the situation calls for it, our company has an experienced staff of counsellors who will
work one-on-one with families or individuals to create the ideal personal tribute to your
loved one's life. If you’re unable to come to us, we will be more than willing to visit you at
your own home to shoe and explain our services. We know how tough these times can be so
