Dr. Ashok Jhanji, DDS, MS, is a highly-experienced dentist with advanced training in prosthodontic services including complex restorations, dentures, bridges, crowns, and implants at his forward-thinking offices, serving residents of Cook County, Oak Lawn, Burbank, and Hometown, IL. Praised by patients for his patient-first attitude and breadth of experience, Dr. Jhanji brings over 30 years of experience in caring for the cosmetic, preventative, and functional dentistry needs of patients throughout the Chicago area.
Dr. Jhanji completed his advanced training in prosthodontics in 1985, and earned his DDS degree in 1986 from Northwestern University Dental School.
He decided to continue his advanced dental training at Northwestern and finished earning his Masters degree in 1989.
After graduating, Dr. Jhanji continued his allegiance with Northwestern as an assistant professor teaching prosthodontics at Northwestern University Dental School for 17 years. During this time, he also earned a certificate in Advanced Education in Prosthodontics, giving him in-depth and expert knowledge in the field. It is this experience that has given him the ability to easily explain complicated dental procedures to his patients in ways that are easy to understand.
30 years ago, Dr. Jhanji started his practice and has been actively involved in treating patients ever since. He offers a number of common dental services to his patients, including root canals, dental fillings, root planning, tooth extractions, and teeth whitening. Additionally, with his background in Prosthodontics, he is pleased to offer various restorative dentistry procedures, including dental inlays, veneers, dental bonding, denture repair, and even restoration of broken or old dental implants.
It is his goal to provide optimal dental care for each and every one of his patients through education, preventive care, and regular check-ups. Through these preparations, he hopes that his patients are able to keep all of their original teeth, but if not, he is highly qualified to provide replacement teeth.
In his free time, Dr. Jhanji enjoys celebrating his Indian heritage as well as traveling.
