Cafe Manager responsibilities include supervising and maintaining our Café, café employees, inventory, food prep and ordering supplies. To be successful in this role you should have work experience with various roles in fast food, restaurants or other food-related industries. Also, you should be available to work days and nights including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day operations of the Cafe
• Train employees on food and drink preparation and proper use of café equipment
• Coordinate with vendors and order supplies, as needed.
• Maintain updated records of daily, weekly and monthly inventory.
• Advise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with customers and deliver excellent customer service
• Ensure all Cafe areas are clean and tidy
• Cook, prep and portion food weekly
Requirements:
• Work experience as a Cafe Manager or other food-related industry
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manages food/drink operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Works well with children
• Proven talent and performance-management skills
• ServSafe Certification and the Alcohol Permit required after hiring
• Availability to work within opening hours (including weekends and holidays)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
• Customer service attitude
Salary dependent upon experience, education, etc. of applicant
