The Sparrow Ionia Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine team is comprised of licensed and certified health care professionals trained in the areas of physical therapy, athletic training, and exercise science. our therapists also provide in-patient therapy while the Patient is in Sparrow Ionia Hospital, and work closely with our Physicians to offer coordinated care that fully addresses every Patient's needs. Orthopedic Surgeons, Alicia Ballard, DO and Michael Vaccariello, MD, recently joined the medical team at Sparrow Ionia Hospital. Drl. Ballard specializes in anterior hip replacement, osteoporosis management and providing all types of fracture care. Dr. Vaccariello specializes in Sports Medicine, providing treatment of sports injuries in athletes of all ages and total and partial knee and shoulder replacement.
