Faculty Facts Friday: Dr. Mark Godenick was born and raised in New Jersey, completed his residency in Orlando, Fla., and then began practicing rural medicine in West Virginia. Shortly after he obtained his preventative medicine degree in Maryland. His professional interests are prevention, wilderness medicine, urgent care, sports medicine and research. Outside of his professional passions he is the proud father of three daughters and Zeus, his miniature pincher who regularly joins him in backpacking, camping, gardening and enjoying music. Dr. Godenick is an awesome teacher who enjoys teaching and supporting the residents at the Family Medicine Residency program.
