As a Life Chiropractic College graduate with undergraduate education at Michigan State University, I began my Chiropractic career at a very early age. Since, I have been blessed to have furthered my education, start my own practice and build a family with my wonderful wife. I now have two very healthy, very active children, aged 13 and 15, who continually keep me on my toes.
As for my practice, I have dedicated the past 26 years of my work here in Upstate New York, to honing in on wellness techniques that are beneficial to all those in need. I have always had a certain respect for the body’s natural ability to heal itself and have attempted to make all my services ones that allow this ability to flourish. To ensure that the methods I use to help my chiropractic patients do just this, I only use gentle and effective adjustments, which help to restore a person’s innate ability to heal and restore health.
As I continued my education in improved health and wellbeing, it became evident that nutrition needed to play a bigger role in my practice. My nutritional guidelines are based on helping people focus on eating whole, unprocessed foods and using traditional food preparation. Much ill-health can be turned around with simple changes in diet. Also, there has been growing evidence that a poor balance in the micro-organisms that live in our intestinal tracts contribute to many psychological conditions as well as many physiological conditions. To gain a greater understanding in this area, I became a certified Gut and Psychology/Physiology Syndrome Practitioner, trainied by Natasha Campbell-McBride. This has lead to the ultimate expansion of my practice and allowed me to incorporate nutrition along with chiropractic services to help people better reach their health potential. To me, it is abundantly clear that every individual, given the right tools, such as nutrition and chiropractic correction, has the ability to achieve their body’s optimum health and healing potential.
