Spencer owns national Trademark to a newly formed retail mattress concept called Sleep Mart Mattress Express. He values a good deal and over the last 20 years gained the in depth knowledge of the mattress industry. Spencer knows major brands like Sealy, Simmons, Serta and Englander are over-priced and cost approximately 30% more than his own brand. He doesn't believe in buying these brands at such high wholesale prices and then marking them up even higher to the consumer. The secret is to contact with the smaller regional brands and match the national brands quality specifications exactly. By doing this his cost is much less therefore his clients save considerably. Spencer coined a phrase "Customers are smart, they know value and want value.
