1. Take pictures of damage
2. Try to minimize damage - tarping etc - keep your receipts.
3. Report claim to agent or insurance company directly.

I read something this morning where they described 2020 as a "dumpster fire of a year." How accurate between Covid and Hurricanes to name a few. Now 2021 is off to a rough start. However, I believe its all about our outlook. Things are rough but they will improve!
