Project Overview: The Danfoss Turbocor project was a 48,030 square foot addition on to the existing facility at Innovation Park in Tallahassee. The addition is part of the application, research and development center. It houses a test pit that is deeper than an Olympic sized diving pool and a one ton crane. As part of Danfoss’s commitment to developing new energy efficient and sustainable refrigerant technologies, they have invested heavily in expanding and updating their existing R & D facilities. This project was completed in multiple phases which allowed Danfoss's operations to continue uninterrupted.
