How so much power could come from such a slight figure, we will never know, but her presence towered above those around her. She championed not only for women’s equality, but the equality of all marginalized people. She devoted her life to trying to improve the lives of others as a true servant.
She has been a key figure to young women everywhere of what they can accomplish. She was not only an attorney, she was a great one. She was not only the second female Supreme Court Justice, but a celebrated one.
Notorious. You will be missed.
It’s hard to believe it has been 19 years since the towers fell. While this year has created so many losses and hardships of its own, today we continue to remember those we lost on this day, nearly two decades ago.
