Let me tell you about one of our multi-talented co-workers here at Sprague--Cris, aka Roof Ninja.
As you can see in the photos, he is quite the talented craftsman and wood worker. Below is the story of this lovely creation...….
"One of our homeowners asked if I could make a bowl for his sister... The base and middle rings are from a piano she played as a child and reluctantly left it behind because pianos weigh a lot.
The lid and other 2 sections are from a tree that fell during a hard rain on his property. There's two pieces of cedar you can't see, Charlie's dad fell that tree nearly 50 years ago! He and his sister have carried bits and pieces of it all of there adult life.... Charlie asked if I could combine the memories and this is what happened." ☮️♥️🙂
All the feels, Cris! This was an amazingly generous gesture that I am certain will be a cherished family heirloom for a long time to come. Kudos!!
