Lorrie was born and raised in Highland, New York along with her eight siblings. After High school, Lorrie went on to spend four years working on her teacher’s degree at New Platz State College in New York. After College she met and married the love of her life and had five beautiful children. In 1963 her and her family moved to Washington. From there she decided to finish her fifth year of her teacher’s degree at St. Martins College in Lacey, WA. In Lorrie’s spare time, sewing was her favorite thing to do. She enjoyed working on her sewing machine and making clothes for her children. Apart from that, she was involved in various committees, such as catholic daughters, Lions club and was the board of directors for James Street Estates. Lorrie is all about making people smile at Spring Creek. Do you want to laugh? Then I invite you to the comedy Hour with Lorrie where Lorrie makes everyone laugh. Thank you Lorrie for always keeping us smiling and laughing here at Spring Creek by Bonaventure.

As we explore the history of Amsterdam, we paid homage to Anne Frank by recreating her room, and included a 45 minute recorded narrative about her family and the Holocaust that played as they walked through. It was and honor to present, and beautifully received by the residents who were touched by its power.

We "set sail" on our Bonaventure Virtual Cruise today! Our first destination is Amsterdam so our Writer's Club finished their short story about a jewel theft on a cruise to Amsterdam. Presented as a cliffhanger, this clever mystery was a huge hit and left our residents guessing, voting, and deciding who the thief was! Make no mistake, it's NO MYSTERY that our residents are having fun exploring the culture and beauty of Northern Europe. #retirementperfected #lifestylesperfected
What an fantastic way to ring in the new with a surprise New Years batch of flowers from Fred Meyer. We will able to do a surprise flower arranging activity where residents come and put together there own display of flowers. Don't these arrangements look beautiful!

We had an amazing time ringing in the New with our Black and white New Years Eve Party. The residents came looking mighty fine in their fancy outfits. The night was filled with fancy dessert, good wine, loads of laughter, and ended off with a room full of beautiful singing. We laughed and cries and many resident shared what 2020 meant today!! Big Win! Happy 2021!
