Classic Gingerbread House with a Modern Twist 🎄🍭🍬
When @calia_stone_boutique asked us to be in a gingerbread house contest we said HECK YEAH!
Check out our story for the full process!!
1. We worked with our CAD wiz, Kurt who drew up the house to get cut on our CNC. The structure is made out of Glacier White Corian @coriandesign
2. We put the structure together, cladded it in gingerbread and decorated with every candy you could imagine!
3. We found a small kitchen set and cut the wood tops off. We then cut up vinyl flooring to replicate the look of hardwood floors. Details!
4. David S and David F in our stone shop cut the iceberg that the house is sitting on to give it a “winter feel” and cut engineered quartz for the countertops, full height backsplash and mitered (YES MITERED) legs on the waterfall island.
5. We found a truck and made a mini A-Frame and put the Sprovieri’s logo on so it could go “out for install”😉.
6. We then finished it off with Corian shavings that were leftover in our solid surface shop from a current project getting fabricated😜.
We incorporated natural stone, engineered quartz and solid surface materials because that is what we are all about at @sprovieriscustomcounters
