To our dear patients:
Hope we will come out of the virus stronger. We will be returning to a limited schedule. Please call the office at 773-975-6868 between 9am to noon find out the specifics or for appointments.
1. We will not be allowing children under age of 18 years.
2. At present, only the person for the appointment is allowed.
3. We expect everyone entering to be wearing a mask.
4. We will be wearing masks and will be practising hand hygiene, social distancing and medical office hygiene and cleansing.
5. If you have Covid symptoms(dry cough, fever more than 101F, loss of taste or smell, recent members of family that are Covid +), and otherwise have no eye issues at present, please call your primary care to seek care and call our office to cancel and reschedule your appointment.
6. If you are over 70 and are concerned and have no vision threatening issues, you are welcome to reschedule.
7. If you have any questions, that are not addressed here, please call our office and someone will help you.

March 18, 2020 – The American Academy of Ophthalmology has released recommendations regarding urgent and nonurgent patient care. According to the statement, all ophthalmologists should cease providing any treatment other than urgent or emergent care immediately. This includes both office-based care and surgical care.
As a result, we may be reaching out to our established patients who currently have non- urgent or emergent appointments, to reschedule.
