We have another successful kitchen cabinetry job in the books this week! The transformation is absolutely amazing! We painted the cabinets White Dove OC-17 by Benjamin Moore.
This week the ladies of S&S had a HUGE cabinet job! Kitchen cabinets, a bar area and a massive entertainment center. There were 95 doors, drawers and shelves!! We got it done in 5 days! It looks awesome!
Today, we were painting S&S Green!! 😂😂 Actually, the color is called Dancing Green SW6716 by Sherwin Williams. It was a super fun color to paint and we definitely blended in!
Yesterday we had a visit from our Sherwin Williams paint rep, Brooke. Whenever our reps come to visit, they know the ladies of S&S like a yummy treat! She did not disappoint! Festive Krispy Kreme donuts!! Yum!!!! Thank you Brooke and Sherwin-Williams!
Happy Monday!! Today, we had a little helper on the job site! She was too cute! She came up to each of us and watched as we painted. She said, "I wish I could be a painter like you and do that." I replied by telling her that she could be a painter like us when she grew up and that she could come work for us! She then responded, " Why would I want to do that? You'll be a grandma then!" I about fell on the floor laughing! So we put her to work today painting trim!
Today, the girls rocked through a two story foyer and upstairs hall!! The customer's had recently moved in and wanted a more updated look. It was time for a facelift! In just 6 hours, the space went from 1994 to 2020! We painted Sherwin Williams Repose Gray SW7015. It looks amazing!!
Last week, the girls did an amazing transformation in a living room and kitchen. The customer was tired of her current colors and it was time for a change!! We painted the accent wall in Grizzle Gray SW7068 and the remaining walls Silver Plate SW7649 by Sherwin Williams. It is such an awesome change!
We just finished up a major bathroom transformation! We converted all the wood trim to white, and the walls needed some serious tlc. So we used our festool, which is a dustless sander, sanded the walls and made a bunch of repairs and now the walls are flawless! The walls are painted with Pink Touch 1069 by McCormick Paints. What a change!
I know you guys are excited for the final results of the pics we posted earlier this week, and we are almost done! But in the mean time check out this stair case and white washed fireplace that got a makeover last week by our other team! Absolutely gorgeous!!
We've got another big transformation happening this week!! Ceiling, walls and trim all getting fresh coats of paint! Really excited to see this spaced get refreshed! Stay tuned.
The girls just finished up another huge transformation! A living room, dining room, foyer, stairwell and loft that was a sage green color. The customer wanted to brighten up the space so we painted Chic Magnet 0313 from McCormick Paints. It really does brighten up the space and shows off all of her artwork that she has collected from her travels.
Remember last week we had a big transformation in process? Well it's finished and it's gorgeous! We painted the walls in the family room Beach Glass 1564 by Benjamin Moore, the kitchen is painted with Healing Aloe 1562, and the hallway, foyer and stair case are painted Balboa Mist 1549. We also painted the ceilings and freshened up all the trim!
We have another serious transformation happening this week!! We are working in an office space this week with all pine walls and wood trim. It's going to be a huge change!! We are so excited to see how this turns out!

Happy Wednesday!! We are half way through the week! Even the paint was happy about making it to Wednesday! The girls opened up the can of paint to find the most perfect smiley face on the inside of the lid! How awesome is that! Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the week! Just 2 more days til the weekend!

Alright ladies and gentlemen, the office space transformation is complete!! It looks like a whole new building!! When we first walked in, it felt like a time warp to 1970's. Now, it's beautiful, bright, fresh and modern! We converted all the trim from wood to white and all the paneled walls got fresh coats of Repose Gray SW 7015 by Sherwin Williams.
While wait for the transformation of the office space to be completed, here's a cute pic of the girls in the shop perfecting their caulking skills! It's one of the most important steps when prepping trim and repairing various other things. Susan, has reached mastery, hence the caulking queen crown!
Today, we added some much needed warmth to a home. The walls were originally what we like to call "builder white". We painted HGSW 3335 Silver Shadows by Sherwin Williams. What a difference! The space is so much more inviting and warm now!

Talk about a transformation!! This bathroom originally had wallpaper everywhere (we didn't get a before picture), the customer wanted it down, but still wanted that wow factor. So, the wallpaper came down and then alot of wall prep and priming had to be done. Next, we painted a base coat on the walls. Harbor Haze 2136-60 by Benjamin Moore. After that, we did a faux finish with the color Brushed Radiance PT-300 with a special metallic latex paint by Benjamin Moore.
We received the cutest gift today and hung it right up! A piece of slate with our logo painted onto it! We love it! It's perfect. Handmade gifts are always the best! Thank you so much Ashley Payne, Atkinson Insurance Agency

Holy smokes!! Check out this sunroom transformation the girls did this week!! The color is Crystalline AF-485 by Benjamin Moore. It is so much brighter, happier, and calming all at the same time.
How do our walls looks so good after we paint? Well, it's all in the prep. We take alot of time to get rid of all imperfections before the first drop of paint. We also mark every repair with a piece of blue tape to ensure we don't miss anything when we go back to sand. Check out this insane prep job we did last week. The ladies at S&S do not fool around.
This week the girls painted a two story foyer, accent wall, and tray ceiling. It is absolutely stunning!!! What a huge difference! We love when customers choose bold colors! They are so fun to paint. Everything in the house was contractor white. We painted the foyer Smokestack Gray 2132-40 by Benjamin Moore. The accent wall is painted Lead Gray 2131-30 by Benjamin Moore. And finally. The tray ceiling is painted Van Buren Brown HC-70 by Benjamin Moore.
The girls rocked it this week!! So much so, we were able to squeeze in time for a quick meeting! It's always great when we are all able to get together to touch base, do a little team building, get the vans re-supplied and catch up on all things S&S.
We recently painted a bedroom in an older home in richmond. When we arrived, the old oil paint on the windows was cracking and peeling from years of sun exposure. The walls and ceiling also needed a refresh! What a difference a little tlc and a fresh coat of paint makes! The walls are painted Window Pane SW 6210 by Sherwin Williams.
One of our favorite things about painting in homes is meeting new furry friends! We love all the sweet animals everyone has. And sometimes, they even supervise! Our customers have the best pets ever!
These cabinets got a huge make over this week! It was a very big job, but the ladies of S&S got it done! The color is Krypton SW 6247 by Sherwin Williams.
Safety is number one at S&S Painting, so we were closed today. Employees got to stay home; warm, cozy and safe with our families. What did everyone else do on their snow day?!
Doors, drawers and bases oh my!! This is what it looks like at the shop during a cabinetry job. There is a ton of prep going on before we can even spray the primer! Degreasing, filling, and sanding. Once all that is done we get to spray primer!
Well friends, it has been one heck of a week! We hope everyone made it through ok! We had 2 cabinet jobs going on at the same time this week and trying to get them done before the bad weather was stressful. But we did it! We even had our office manager Rhonda helping with an install. Happy weekend everyone!
One our projects this week was a little bannister and step riser makeover. This was in an old Richmond home and the stairwell needed a face lift! Wow! The black bannister really pops! And the steps look brand new!
The cabinets in the shop are over half way done! A coat of primer and 2 coats of paint on the back sides. Tomorrow the fronts will get sprayed twice and then installation on Friday!
Here are the finished dressers! We couldn't put the doors on the one because the customer was getting new hardware, but they look so good!!!

This week the girls did a couple of amazing transformations in one house! In a small sunroom we painted Window Pane SW 6210 by Sherwin Williams on the trim and the walls. It looks so calming and bright at the same time. Then, downstairs in the kitchen, the customer has this great wallpaper on a couple of walls and wanted her french door painted to go with it. The door is painted Gooseberry HGSW 1013 by Sherwin Williams. The walls in the kitchen are painted Sweet Innocence BM 2125-50 by Benjamin Moore. The combination of colors looks stunning!!
