These brave men and women were part of the mass polio inoculations, they lived through the eradication of small pox, and if you want to know what whooping cough sounds like, just ask them...they lived it and conquered it. They watched the effects of the Great Depression and then fearlessly stepped up to protect our nation in WWII and the uncertainty that followed it. They have blazed the trail for decades. Today, they rolled up their sleeves and once again showed us the way. We are inspired as we watch them make history once again. #followtheirlead #realheroes #neverunderestimate #thegreatestgeneration

"As I move through the autumn of my life, I feel so blessed to be able to continue my SND outreach ministry. I had 50 wonderful years of active engagement as a Notre Dame educator. Now I am able to continue this ministry in my retirement years through Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation (JPIC) and Association."
