We’re in the fight of our lives against COVID-19, here in Minnesota and around the country. We can beat this, but we need your help. #FightCOVIDMN Park Nicollet Health Services November 25 at 8:00 AM · A negative test isn’t your green light to party! Many people have gotten COVID-19 tests recently as a precautionary measure, thinking a negative test offers clearance to gather safely with family and friends. But, COVID-19 tests only reflect infection at a single point in time. With high rates of community spread in Minnesota, it’s very possible for people to develop COVID-19 between the time they receive a negative test and the time they gather for holiday celebrations. The best way reduce the spread of COVID-19 involves washing hands regularly, wearing masks in public, social distancing and limiting the size of holiday celebrations to people who already live in the same household. Along with other leading healthcare professionals in Minnesota, we are asking you to do your part to stop the spread of COVID-19. #FightCOVIDMN ➡ https://fightcovidmn.org/
Dialing back your holiday celebrations this year to include only those in your immediate household will help slow the spread of COVID-19, keeping hospital beds in MN open for those needing care for both COVID-19 and non-COVID situations. Let's do our part this holiday season, so we can look forward to a brighter holiday season in 2021. More: https://fightcovidmn.org #FightCOVIDMN

Shakopee resident, Lacy, knew something was terribly wrong when she could barely muster enough strength to drive her kids to school. Joint pain, shivering, a pounding headache and a 105-degree fever followed. Extremely sick and diagnosed with COVID-19, Lacy was admitted to St. Francis, where she was given donated plasma from a COVID-19 survivor.
