Last week, St. Joseph Heritage Medical Group partnered with Blue Shield of California to provide important preventative health screenings at our Orange Chapman site through the use of our mobile health clinics.

While today we’re currently offering the COVID-19 vaccine to certain high and medium-risk individuals, including health care personnel and residents and patients in long-term care facilities, we know this information could change quickly.
Although the vaccine is not being offered to the general public right now, we will keep you updated as vaccinations become more widely available. In the meantime, there is no need to contact us to schedule a vaccine appointment. We’ll reach out to you to ensure those who are eligible next are notified in a timely manner, and as supplies allow.

Today we honor and celebrate all of the women who have paved the way in medicine. National Women Physicians Day is held annually on February 3, Elizabeth Blackwell’s birthday. In 1849, Dr. Blackwell was the first woman in the United States to earn a medical degree.
We have come a long way in the last 172 years and our women physicians—just a few shown here—are some of the best around. #sacredencounters
