Dacelin St. Martin MD, FAAP
Dr. St. Martin is one of the few physicians in the country with Board Certifications in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Sleep Medicine and is specially trained in Anti-Aging. Dr. St. Martin earned his MD degree with honors from Montemorelos University, Mexico, an affiliate of Loma Linda University, CA. He received his Internship at: Metropolitan Hospital, NY, NY (New York Medical College) and his Combined Pediatrics and Internal Medicine Residency Training at Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT (Yale University Health Systems).
While he was in Residency Training, Dr. St. Martin was elected as Chief Resident. He was also a first-prize winner of the Resident Research Award, a testimony to his dedication and leadership in the field of Medicine. Dr. St. Martin has made scientific presentations. One such notable presentation was made at the Science Symposium at Bridgeport Hospital and was titled “Mycobacterium Marinum Disease: A Case Series Report and Literature Review”. He has also been published in several medical journals including the Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology and the Connecticut Medical Journal. He is an avid teacher of medical students and he believes in helping to shape and mold the future of Medicine and Nurse Practitioners. He is currently an assistant professor for USF. To stay on the cutting edge, he maintains an active membership with the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Academy of Sleep Medicine, the Florida Medical Association, American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.
