*September 24 & September 25 we are celebrating the consecration of the church iconography. We will have church services as well as a banquet and dinner.
Since 1912, St. Nicholas Romanian Orthodox Church has been serving the parishioners of Alliance, OH and surrounding communities.
It is the mission of St. Nicholas, and the Orthodox Church of America, to be faithful in fulfilling the commandments of Christ and to, “Go into all the world and make disciples of all Nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observes all the things that He has commanded.”
We have a strong, family-oriented community centered in Christ and all who wish to share in our mission and lifestyle are invited to join us for Divine Services!
In an effort to preserve our rich Romanian heritage, we serve in both English and Romanian languages. We also recently completed a large renovation, including stunning iconography, to beautify our church and enhance our community’s worship experience.
Our Parish is led by the Rev. Fr. John Nemes.
Each year, our parish enjoys several community events each year including the Romanian Festival with authentic food and entertainment, Holy Festivals, traditional Romanian dinners, holidays and more!
