The St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School believes in integrating the teachings of Jesus Christ with the comprehensive education of each student. These religious truths and values serve as a foundation for the student’s future ministries in the church, family, and community. Each individual from Preschool through 8th grade (middle school) will grow spiritually and academically, realizing the potential God ordained.
Our approach to education is the full development of each child. Here, children grow in their understanding of themselves, their relationship with God, and their relationship with others. We believe in providing more than an outstanding academic experience. Our focus extends to supporting character formation, inspiring values-based decision making, deepening a love and concern for others, sparking a love for learning, and creating a thirst to fully understand our Faith. In addition to our comprehensive teaching program, each of our blessed days consist of daily prayer, school mass, prayer services, reconciliation and service projects.
St. Vincent de Paul's early childhood students are part of our School Community. They interact with grade school buddies, exercise in the gym, visit the church and chapel, listen to stories in the library, and sing like angels in music class. In addition to on-site and off-site field trips, they participate in age-appropriate activities in the larger school setting. All potty-trained 3-5 year olds are welcome to attend Faithful Beginnings regardless of religious affiliation.
Realizing that parents and guardians are the primary educators of our children, the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School, through its administrators, teachers, staff, coaches and moderators, work diligently with parents and guardians to help our child grow in their faith and community. We invite our surrounding communities of Maple Grove, Champlin, Osseo, and Brooklyn Park to visit our school today.
