Darrell has been with Team Standard since 2017. His day consists of running plumbing service calls, and servicing water heaters, toilets, repairing water leaks, updating faucets and assisting customers with questions and whatever plumbing problems they may have.

An easy way to make sure that your hose bib has protection from frost is having either an insulator cap for the hose bib or a frost proof bib. Did you know that the vents above the oven (vent fans) need to be cleaned on a monthly basis. These vents can get clogged with grease from cooking and when they are dirty, they do not allow for proper ventaliation.
Cleaning these vents is as easy as using your favorite house hold degreaser (we like dishwashing pods). Place the vents in the sink and cover them with hot water. Add the dishwashing pod and let them soak. (for hard vents that have a lot of build up, allow them to soak over night). Another way to wash these is by simply placing them in the dishwasher.
