Denison Bulletin & Review 16 September at 15:22 · Star Equipment brought a Dura Patch machine to Denison on Tuesday to allow the staff of the Public Works Department to try out the machine. They chose a portion of North Main Street for the demonstration to show how the machine fills in holes and cracks in pavement. Jeff Arn is shown handling the machine in this video. Wade Snyder, a sales person with Star Equipment. The machine produces a strong stream of air to clean the area to be patches. A coating of patching material is applied first, followed by a mixture of patching material and rock, and then a coating of rock. The patches created by the machine are said to be more durable than cold patches and can fill in larger holes than cold patch. Star Equpment offers sales and rental of the machines.
