Monday, July 13, 2020 Update:
All Summer "Camp Kids" programs through August 28, 2020 have now been cancelled.
All families have been refunded and mailed a refund confirmation via the United States Postal Service.
As is the case during this unpredictable time, our plans and timeline are subject to change. We will be communicating more details once the executive order extending the closure of public spaces has been lifted. Based upon Governor Gretchen Whitmer's latest executive order extending the closure of certain public spaces Stars & Stripes will remain closed. Our classification of business type is not permitted to reopen yet. We will release our reopening plan once we are provided with operational regulations.

Whitmer - Executive Order 2020-110 (COVID-19) (June 1, 2020)
Stars & Stripes Kids Activity Center will be resuming gymnastics and warrior training classes again on Wednesday, January 20th. If you were enrolled in November your classes will resume seamlessly. The remaining classes from January will make-up for the missed classes in November. Your class schedule will remain the same and will resume without any action needed. Competitive team schedules will be communicated separately.
We will resume billing of tuition on February 1st for currently enrolled students.
As is the case during this unpredictable time, our plans and timeline are subject to change based on government orders. If this happens we will update you further.

We have been working on a slow phased in approach to bring our many programs back. We started with our competitive team program which has been going very well.
Starting on Wednesday, January 20th we will continue our phase 2 of our phased in approach with gymnastics and warrior training classes! At this time we are only offering a small amount of classes so that we can make sure that we are doing our part to bring some form of normalcy to your family’s life while being aware of the capacity restrictions that we need to adhere to at this time. We realize that we must move slow and steady to make sure that we can offer the types of programs that you have come to love in an environment where everyone feels safe. There are restrictions that we have to adhere to in order to make the comeback that we have been waiting for since our first closure on March 14th.
There are safety precautions that we are implementing into our programs that we want to make you aware of before you sign up.
*All staff, athletes, and caregivers are required to wear a mask when they are in the building.
*Prior to attending classes we ask all caregivers to do a self-assessment of themselves and their athlete to verify that they are healthy and ready to attend class.
*We are asking at this time that only one caregiver comes into the building with their child.
*Water fountains are not available so please make sure to bring your own water bottle.
*As we enter the gymnasium for class each student will be given hand sanitizer for their hands.
*Students will sanitize their hands after each event.
*There will be an entrance door and an exit door so that we can try to maintain as much distancing as possible. The doors will be labeled for your convenience.
We are over the moon excited to be able to see everyone again and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting small businesses in this wonderful state!

Children (and teachers) have been making a profound impact at our annual Holiday Shows since 2002. In 2020 we have a great opportunity to flashback! This is one of our all time favorites! 2020 is paused but that doesn't change the legacy of the last 18 years!

Based on the State of Michigan Epidemic Orders Stars & Stripes will continue pausing all classes and practices. We will resume classes and practices once we are allowed to reopen.
When we reopen your class schedule will remain the same and will resume without any action needed. Competitive team schedules will be communicated separately.
As is the case during this unpredictable time, our plans and timeline are subject to change.
Your remaining prorated tuition from November will carry forward and be applied to the prorated tuition relative to our reopening start date. We will not process any further tuition payments until we are allowed to reopen. This means that we will not process any Tuition payments on January 1, 2021.
Once we are allowed to reopen and have a definite reopening date we will update you further.
Monday, November 16, 2020 Update:
Based on the State of Michigan Epidemic Orders Stars & Stripes will be pausing all classes and practices starting on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. As of this moment, we are scheduled to resume classes and practices on Wednesday, December 9, 2020. Your class schedule will remain the same and will resume without any action needed. Competitive team schedules will be communicated separately.
As is the case during this unpredictable time, our plans and timeline are subject to change.
