Established in 1973 , two "starving students" could not find part-time jobs to pay their way through college. Ethan Margalith and Darryl Marshak dug an old army command truck out of a mudslide and painted, "Moving? Call Starving Students" on its side. He parked the truck near a busy highway and the phone hasn't stopped ringing since.
