Lightning Can Come with a Terrible Cost
As part of State Farm's Covid outreach, the company has partnered with Agents in the Good Neighbor Community Funding program. As part of the program the company and I were able to donate $500.00 to Second Harvest Food Bank.
Food supplies have been greatly depleted due to increased need during the Pandemic and we are happy to help Second Harvest. Note that 97 cents of every dollar donated goes directly towards food. I was also told that because of the Second Harvest buying power and direct food donations that each dollar of donation equals 9.00 of food buying power. Those are impressive numbers!
