Beware of a scammer who is peddling air duct cleaning on several swap shops in the area. I messaged “Frank Baker” to get more info. He never directly answered most of my questions (also not knowing that I am one of 3 certified duct cleaners in the state). He is claiming to own a company out of state and send a sub in to clean ducts for $199. A proper duct cleaning takes most of the day if not several days depending on the size of the house and costs much more than that for skilled, trained, certified firms. I’m just saying buyer beware. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. The state requires a Class C HVACR license to clean ducts. Just don’t fall for the fake profiles with wholesome family pics offering ridiculously cheap prices. You will end up throwing your money away. See our conversation below......

All signs continue to point to a dangerous weather event set to unfold across portions of Arkansas and surrounding areas on Wednesday. An intense upper level storm system along with a strong cold front will set the stage for widespread strong to possibly severe thunderstorms across the region. A few intense storms may develop during the morning hours with more widespread activity expected to move eastward across the state during the afternoon hours.
All severe weather hazards will be possible on Wednesday, with at least some potential for a few strong tornadoes. The area of greatest concern continues to be across the eastern half of Arkansas, where a Moderate Risk of severe weather has been introduced. Try not to focus too closely on the boundaries of the severe weather risk areas as severe weather will be possible nearly statewide on Wednesday.
Moderate Risk outlooks issued by the NWS Storm Prediction Center aren't issued frequently and only occurred across Arkansas three times in both 2019 and 2020.
Be safe out there and encourage others to be prepared prior to this anticipated severe weather event!
