Halloween Pet Costume Contest!
Here are the rules:
Submit your favorite picture of your pet wearing a Halloween costume by Friday October 16. You can submit pictures by posting them below, or emailing them to steeleanimalhospital@yahoo.com
Then like this post, and share it to your personal Facebook.
From Monday October 19 through Friday October 23, all the submitted pictures will be posted for voting. The pet picture with the most likes as of 5pm Friday October 23rd will win the following:
A Halloween pet basket full of goodies, including, but not limited to:
- bag of Hills Science Diet
- Kong toy and other toys
- dental treats
- coupons for services
There will also be 2nd and 3rd place winners!
Winners are NOT limited to our existing clients!

This summer has been excruciatingly hot. Please remember - DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET IN THE CAR. Temperatures inside the vehicle can rise to over 100 degrees QUICKLY, and pets are subject to heat stroke.
We hope everyone is staying safe with this seemingly never-ending COVID-19 situation.
We are still doing curbside service until further notice. We hope that soon we will be able to have our clients back inside, but for now, please call us at 727-398-7601 from our parking lot, and one of our staff will come outside to help you. Whether you are picking up prescription food or medication for your pet, or if your pet has an appointment, you can stay inside your car, and we will do the running for you!
Our hours are still slightly reduced - typically we are closing half an hour to an hour early, and some days we are closed 12 - 2pm for lunch breaks.
Assume our business hours are:
Monday 8am - noon, 2 - 4pm
Tuesday 8am - noon, 2 - 6pm
Wednesday 8am - 11am
Thursday 8am - noon, 2 - 4pm
Friday 8am - noon, 2 - 4pm
Saturday 8am - 11am
