Dr. Furlan is a South Florida native. She attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate training and obtained her Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University. Having excelled with clinical and academic excellence, Dr. Furlan went on to complete a residency in internal medicine at University of Miami Palm Beach Regional Campus, and served as Chief Resident. Having a passion for medicine and teaching, Dr. Furlan decided to pursue a career in academic internal medicine and currently serves as an Affiliate Assistant Professor of Medicine and Faculty Attending for the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine at JFK Medical Center. When not caring for patients, Dr. Furlan enjoys cooking, gardening, kayaking, and hiking.
